Fields of application
Laying and jointing mortar based on a vinylester resin and a carbonaceous filler for easy laying and jointing of acid-resistant ceramic tiles, bricks or carbon bricks.
Dolit VEC is used for the lining of apparatus and process vessels or for the tiling in industrial plants, chemical warehouses and production areas where particularly comprehensive and universal chemical resistance is required.
Product properties
- Thermal resistant up to approx.120 °C
- Very good chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and oxydising media.
- Hydrofluoric acid resistant.
- Can be used inside buildings or outdoors.
- Good adhesion to ceramic tiles, bricks or carbon bricks.
- Electrically conductive.
