Fields of application
Laying and jointing mortar based on a modified furan resin with hydrofluoric acid resistant fillers for easy laying and jointing of acid-resistant ceramic tiles, bricks or carbon bricks.
Due to its good chemical resistance, especially to solvents and basic chemicals, as well as to hydrofluoric acid, the mortar is used for lining chemical apparatus and process vessels in the chemical industry.
Product properties
- Temperature resistance – Up to 180 °C – The temperature resistance is basically dependent on the individual chemical stress.
- Very good chemical resistance to a wide range of media. – Various inorganic and organic acids and alkalis. – Greases and oils – Fuels, solvents and various hydrocarbons. – Hydrofluoric acid
- Excellent adhesion to ceramic tiles, bricks or carbon bricks.
- electrically conductive
- Particularly economical use due to favourable resin/filler ratio or high filler content of the mortar.
- Can be applied with a joint injector.
